Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC) to a school-based setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity begins July 31, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027. You'll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, fostering communication growth and academic success in an engaging educational environment.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Current state SLP licensure or eligibility prior to start date Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued Strong knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and progress tracking Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Collaborative attitude for working with educators, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs Conduct evaluations, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Collaborate with classroom teachers and other specialists to support student achievement Communicate with families regarding student progress and strategies for support Attend IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to educational planning Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and legal requirements This position offers the stability of a contract-to-hire pathway, the chance to work a school-year schedule, and the rewarding experience of helping students thrive.
