A by G Therapy & Consulting Services is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a school district located west of Birmingham, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who enjoy working with children and are looking for a stable school-year schedule with the option for additional summer employment. Position Highlights Full-time, school-based position Approximately 7 hours per day, Monday-Friday School-year schedule Opportunity for summer employment Supportive administration and therapy team Consistent caseload and schedule Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' communication and academic success Responsibilities Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy services to students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Complete required documentation, progress reports, and IEP-related paperwork Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and other educational professionals Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Alabama Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility for licensure) Valid Alabama Educator Certificate/Teaching Certificate with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous school-based experience Experience working with diverse student populations Why Join Us?
