Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with K-8 students in a vibrant school environment. This full-time position calls for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy, assessments, and case management to a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students. The assignment runs from August 5th through May 23rd, with standard 7-hour workdays.
Desired Qualifications:
Current SLP licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience in a school-based setting, preferably with K-8 students Strong understanding of IEP development, data collection, and progress monitoring Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students on your caseload Conduct assessments to determine therapy needs and eligibility Develop, update, and manage IEPs and required documentation Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student outcomes Maintain organized records in compliance with school and state guidelines Engage in collaborative problem-solving and participate in IEP meetings Enjoy the satisfaction of making a meaningful difference in students' lives while cultivating your skills in a supportive school setting.
