Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to support young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at an elementary school serving students from diverse backgrounds. This contract position is ideal for both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and SLP-CCC professionals eager to gain or expand experience in a dynamic school environment. The role spans the school year, from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with a steady schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program SLP-CCC or CFY candidates welcomed Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date) Previous experience working in pediatrics, schools, or healthcare settings highly valued Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and educational staff Familiarity with IEP processes and documentationKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student success Maintain timely, accurate records in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational goals Offer support and guidance to families regarding their child's communication challenges Make a difference in the lives of children as they embark on their academic journeys.
