Job Description

Desired Background and Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current state license or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior experience working in a school setting is highly valued Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about working with school-aged students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for referred students Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) based on assessment data Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students with varied speech and language needs Collaborate with teachers, intervention teams, and parents to support each childs goals Maintain up-to-date and accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning sessions Provide resources and strategies to staff and families to reinforce communication skills at school and home
