Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity working with K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract basis for the upcoming academic year. Your expertise will impact approximately 60 students, helping them develop essential communication skills that drive academic and social success. This position begins August 5 and continues through May 23, with a schedule of 7-hour days.
Key Qualifications:
Active State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Familiarity with direct therapy, assessment, and IEP-driven case management Strong organizational and communication skills Commitment to supporting a diverse school community
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades K-8 Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in eligibility determinations Manage and document individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers for holistic student support Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions Participate in parent conferences, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities As a valued professional in this role, you will make a significant difference in the lives of young learners while enjoying the support of an organized and collaborative school environment.
