Job Description

Overview The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position. Evaluates and treats patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Communicates with appropriate clinical staff, physicians, and family members regarding treatment plans. Qualifications
EDUCATION
Requires a Master's degree in Speech Pathology. AL licensure as a Speech Pathologist and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech/Language Pathology from the American Speech-language-hearing Association (ASHA) is also required. If CFY, must be under the supervision of CCC until license is obtained
COMPETENCIES
Must complete initial and annual Speech Language Pathology Competency
EXPERIENCE
