Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite contract opportunity is based near the dynamic Huntsville, AL area, with full-time hours amounting to 35 hours per week. You'll play a vital part in enhancing communication and academic success for students in a collaborative school environment. Multiple openings are available, and specific caseload details will be shared at the interview stage.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Alabama as a Speech-Language Pathologist Prior experience working in a school setting is highly valued Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills Ability to adapt and support diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and regulatory standards Attend required meetings and contribute professionally to student support teams
