Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract role providing speech-language pathology services in an engaging school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. In this full-time, onsite position, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting students' communication needs and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Start date is July 27, 2026, and the role extends through May 28, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Eligible for state licensure and school-based credentialing Prior experience in school-based settings preferred Adaptability to varying caseloads and student needs Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
Responsibilities Include:
Delivering direct speech-language therapy to students onsite Conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and monitoring student progress Documenting all services and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations Consulting with teachers and families to implement communication strategies in the classroom Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team Adjusting to caseload and assignment flexibility as specific details are finalized during the interview process
