Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Step into a rewarding contract-to-hire position supporting students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), working full-time from July 31, 2026, through May 27, 2027. In this dynamic school-based setting, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate within an educational team and make a lasting impact on a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain before start date) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to organize caseloads and documentation efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students with varied speech and language needs Engage in multidisciplinary meetings and communicate progress with parents, teachers, and staff Maintain timely and thorough records in accordance with school and state requirements Participate in ongoing professional development
