Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students' communication skills in a flexible, focused role! This contract opportunity is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist interested in working with a school-based caseload of approximately 20 children for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role involves just one day per week, totaling 8-10 hours, making it an excellent option for professionals seeking to balance their schedule while engaging with pediatric clients in an educational setting. Ideal candidates will bring clinical expertise, an enthusiasm for collaboration, and the ability to deliver both in-person and teletherapy services. There is the chance to work with students at various developmental stages, contributing meaningfully to their growth and success.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology State licensure and ASHA certification (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) Familiarity with school-based speech services, healthcare SLP, and pediatric populations Comfort with teletherapy platforms preferred Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Experience in school settings is helpful, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse student caseload Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to maximize student success Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed Utilize teletherapy tools when remote service delivery is appropriate This position offers a manageable, part-time commitment, ideal for licensed SLPs seeking to expand their school-based experience or supplement an existing caseload.
