A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

About the
Role:
Everything On The Spectrum LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join their growing team in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs/care plans) tailored to each client's needs Provide direct therapy services to clients across a range of ages and diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including occupational therapists, behavioral specialists, and caregivers Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed Educate and train families and caregivers on strategies to support communication goals at home Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and company standards
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred Active Alabama state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or developmental disabilities preferred Proficiency in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices and strategies is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients, families, and team members Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to client care
