In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will help improve patients' quality of life through personalized therapy plans, early intervention strategies, and comprehensive patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact across diverse populations, especially in pediatric settings, fostering communication skills from early childhood onward. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing challenges using established clinical protocols. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, including early intervention programs for infants and young children. Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions focused on improving articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, fluency, and social communication skills. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as educators, physicians, and occupational therapists to coordinate comprehensive care strategies. Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, exercises, and strategies to support ongoing progress at home. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment outcomes, and session notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices by participating in ongoing professional development. Skills Proven experience working with pediatric populations and familiarity with early intervention programs. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and evidence-based practices for diverse communication disorders. Ability to perform detailed patient assessments utilizing medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to speech and swallowing functions. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach that encourages trust and motivation. Solid understanding of physiology related to speech production and swallowing mechanisms. Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment plans and progress to patients and their families.
