Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary school students near Jemison, AL during the 2026-2027 school year. This role is an excellent match for Speech-Language Pathologists holding their CCC or completing their CFY, with a passion for pediatric care and school-based interventions. Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Alabama SLP license or eligibility by position start date ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current CFY status Strong background in pediatric speech and language therapy School-based or healthcare SLP experience preferred Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills Positive attitude and commitment to student growthKey Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and therapy for students with communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Consult with educators, parents, and support staff for comprehensive care Provide direct and consultative services aligned with students' academic success Maintain accurate records and progress documentation Participate in IEP meetings and school-based team activitiesBenefits:
