9623628-36054 Job Description Step into a dynamic school environment where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) can make a transformative impact on students lives. This contract opportunity requires you to deliver both therapy services and evaluations for a diverse elementary caseload, ensuring each student receives individualized and comprehensive support. The manageable caseload is capped at 60, and youll collaborate within a dedicated team to achieve student-centered success.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Alabama ASHA certification required Alabama Educator SLP Certification (may begin with application pending, but must obtain promptly; refer to the states online portal) Prior experience working in school settings with varied caseloads preferred Strong assessment, documentation, and therapy planning skills Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with educators and caregivers
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and group therapy services to elementary-age students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations to identify and address students needs Maintain accurate, timely documentation of interventions and student progress Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering guidance on speech-language goals and supports Collaborate with general and special education staff, as well as families, to foster student growth
