Job Description

Step into an onsite role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will help shape positive outcomes for children while collaborating closely with education professionals. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP CCC) and eligibility for Alabama ASHA certification. Alabama Educator SLP Certification, or ability to begin with certification pending (refer to the State of Alabama resource for verification). Demonstrated recent experience providing both SLP therapy and evaluations in a school setting. Strong organizational and communication skills; comfortable collaborating onsite with other professionals and families. Commitment to upholding high standards of ethical and professional practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to a school-based caseload, maxing at 60 students. Complete comprehensive evaluations for referred students, documenting results and recommendations. Develop and implement individualized IEP goals in accordance with education regulations. Engage in progress monitoring; participate in team meetings and parent consultations.
