Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide virtual therapy and evaluations. This role requires managing caseloads of up to 60 students in compliance with state certification guidelines.

Location:

Virtual assignment servicing multiple elementary and magnet schools in Millbrook, AL.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver both speech therapy and conduct speech-language evaluations for school-aged children. Manage a caseload not to exceed 60 students. Utilize teletherapy platforms to provide services effectively. Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required. Current Alabama Educator SLP Certification is mandatory; candidates may begin pending this certification. Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred. Skilled in telespeech or teletherapy service delivery. Ability to navigate virtual service models while maintaining typical school communication and reporting standards.

Additional Details:

Contract dates run from ASAP through May 27, 2027. Work schedule consists of 37.5 hours per week. Three virtual positions available with possible assignments across multiple school sites, including split caseloads. This virtual role is suited for Speech-Language Pathologists dedicated to making a positive impact through remote education support.
