Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a K-8 student population in a part-time, onsite role within a school setting. This contract position runs through the current school year, concluding in May 2026, and offers between 16 to 24 hours per week.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license. Possess Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC). Experience working in school-based settings preferred. Strong skills in assessment and intervention for a range of speech and language disorders in children. Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals.
Location:
Onsite role in Oxford, Alabama serving the local school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed. Provide consultation and support to teachers and parents to reinforce communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements.
