Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a supportive academic environment. This position is ideal for skilled SLPs dedicated to helping students unlock their full communication potential. As you partner with educational staff and families, you'll provide essential speech and language services that empower learners at every stage.
Key requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain) for practicing as an SLP in a school setting Experience working in a school-based environment strongly preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Collaborative attitude for working with multidisciplinary teams Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in alignment with educational goals Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to monitor and support student progress Maintain accurate, compliant records and participate in team meetings Offer staff and family consultations regarding speech/language development as needed Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and relevant state/federal regulations Enjoy working in a dynamic educational setting where your expertise makes a significant difference in students' lives.
