Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication and language development as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in an educational setting. In this dynamic role, you will work collaboratively with fellow professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across a variety of grade levels.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families Efficient organizational habits and clear communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine individual student needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams Provide direct and consultative therapy services targeting speech, language, voice, fluency, and pragmatic disorders Maintain thorough documentation for student progress, session notes, and compliance with regulations Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and support staff to support generalization of communication skills Participate in IEP meetings, staffing, and professional development as required Advocate for students' needs and monitor progress toward therapy goals Take advantage of a flexible contract opportunity, where you'll have the chance to support a vibrant school community and contribute to students' academic and social success.
