Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting. This full-time contract opportunity spans from August 5 through May 23, offering the chance to work closely with a dynamic team and a diverse group of approximately 60 students. Enjoy the support of a school environment while helping students achieve their communicative and educational goals.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Valid state licensure for school-based practice Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and case management skills
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to K-8 students, addressing speech, language, and communication needs Conduct assessments to develop individualized treatment plans Manage case files in compliance with education laws and best practices Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and reporting Track progress and adapt interventions to best meet the needs of each student This position features a traditional seven-hour workday, Monday through Friday, allowing for a manageable schedule and rewarding work-life balance.
