Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC/CFY) in a welcoming school environment. This contract position offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with the school year spanning from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027. You'll work onsite at one elementary school, providing crucial support and interventions that help students thrive academically and socially. Candidates who excel in pediatric care within school-based settings are encouraged to bring their expertise—whether fully certified (CCC) or completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Valid SLP license in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status in progress Experience working with younger children or in elementary school settings preferred Strong knowledge of assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills for working with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
