Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a school setting. This contract role is based in Alexander, Arkansas, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to intervention planning.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working in educational settings with children and adolescents. Strong knowledge of speech and language development, therapy techniques, and regulatory requirements. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff. Ability to manage caseload effectively while maintaining high-quality therapeutic services.
