Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team, committed to enhancing communication and swallowing abilities for diverse populations. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication disorders. Your expertise will help improve patients' quality of life through personalized therapy plans and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders using standardized tools and clinical observations Develop and implement tailored therapy plans aimed at improving communication skills and swallowing functions for pediatric and adult patients Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, educators, and caregivers to coordinate patient care strategies Provide direct speech therapy sessions across various settings such as schools, clinics, or hospitals Educate patients and their families on techniques to support ongoing progress at home and in daily life Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with healthcare regulations Stay current with advances in speech therapy practices, physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and early intervention techniques Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or equivalent credentialing required Prior school experience or pediatric therapy background preferred Strong knowledge of anatomy related to speech production and swallowing physiology Experience conducting patient assessments and developing evidence-based treatment plans Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to patients and families Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology Passion for providing compassionate patient care with a focus on early intervention when appropriate Join us in transforming lives through effective communication!
