We provide personalized care to every child we serve. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work at one of our local school-based sites. You are required to complete the entire school year and will be paid for all time off during the school year. Your schedule would be Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. through 4:00/4:30 p.m. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals, particularly in pediatric settings, by providing high-quality therapy and support. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills in patients. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide education and resources to patients and families regarding speech therapy techniques. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Stay updated on best practices in speech therapy, including early intervention strategies. Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field. Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech therapy. Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred. Familiarity with anatomy knowledge relevant to speech and communication functions. Understanding of physiology knowledge as it relates to speech disorders. Ability to conduct patient assessments effectively and develop tailored care plans. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
