Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) Archild - 2.7 Little Rock, AR Job Details Part-time Up to $70 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Interpersonal skills Computer literacy Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Working with children Speech-Language Pathology License Pediatrics Time management Full Job Description Overview Archild is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to join our therapy team in providing services to children onsite in the preschool and outpatient setting on a PRN basis. Primary responsibilities include providing treatment services to children in accordance with their plan of care and may include completion of speech language therapy evaluations as needed. Responsibilities Provides speech therapy treatment services to children in accordance with their plan of care. Keeps accurate and timely documentation, including therapy session documentation, quarterly reports, discharge summaries and service delivery reports. Collaborates with administration and other disciplines to ensure exceptional services for children and families. Adheres to the policies and procedures of Archild relating to all programs. Provides administration with updated credentials as needed. Participate willingly in all duties assigned to ensure the highest standard of care for all children at Archild. Skills Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people. Ability to maintain legible and accurate medical records. Organizational and time management skills with ability to schedule and efficiently carry out therapy services. Proactive team player. Language skills must include the ability to read and interpret related documents and manuals. Mathematical skills must include the ability to calculate and interpret figures and amounts such as percentages, test scores, charts and graphs generally used in the evaluation process. Reasoning skills must include the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to relate well to children and adults including other professionals and parents. Ability to train and teach preschool staff and parents. Knowledge of principles and trends in evaluation and treatment in speech therapy with demonstration of growth in therapeutic skills through learning and application. Knowledge of all state and federal licensing and educational guidelines, regulations and requirements. Computer skills which include a working knowledge of Microsoft and internet usage.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Speech Therapy License Current ASHA Certification Experience:
At least one year in pediatrics
Pay:
Up to $70.00 per hour
