Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students' communication and language development in an educational setting. This contract opportunity near Pine Bluff, AR, is ideal for professionals passionate about helping children reach their full potential. You'll work 15 hours per week, collaborating closely with educational teams to deliver high-quality speech and language services to diverse student populations.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure as an SLP and/or Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Prior experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Skilled in tailoring therapy for students with a broad range of speech, language, and communication challenges Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language and communication assessments Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals Deliver one-on-one and group therapy to elementary and secondary school students Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and families to maximize student progress Maintain accurate therapy notes and contribute to educational planning meetings Educate and support staff and caregivers regarding strategies to encourage language growth
