Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for pediatric and adult patients, including early intervention evaluations for children. Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs, including those with disabilities or speech impairments. Provide direct therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques in person or via telehealth platforms to maximize accessibility. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care strategies and support systems. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy approaches as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR), maintaining compliance with medical terminology standards. Educate patients and their families on communication strategies, physiology of speech production, anatomy knowledge, and effective home practice routines. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program; licensure or certification as required by state or country regulations. Proven experience working with children in pediatrics or early intervention settings; familiarity with school-based environments is a plus. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, language therapy methods, and comprehensive speech and language evaluations. Experience working with individuals with speech impairments, disabilities, or communication challenges across diverse populations including geriatric patients. Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient management. Excellent understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy related to speech and swallowing functions. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in both clinical and telehealth settings. Prior telehealth experience is preferred; comfort with virtual therapy platforms is essential for expanding access to care.
