This engaging contract opportunity is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist seeking part-time hours—15 per week—while supporting the communication needs of children from diverse backgrounds.
Ideal qualifications and background:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license in Arkansas (or eligibility to obtain) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Familiarity with pediatric populations in both school and healthcare settings Experience conducting assessments, delivering therapy, and developing IEPs for students of varying abilities Strong communication and collaborative approach when working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Key responsibilities: Assessing speech, language, and communication skills utilizing standardized tools and observations Creating individualized treatment plans to address student needs and IEP goals Providing direct and consultative speech-language therapy services for students Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in accordance with school and federal guidelines Collaborating with educators, administrators, and parents to facilitate student success Participating in team meetings and contributing expertise to support overall student well-being This contract role is an excellent fit for professionals seeking flexibility and who thrive in a collaborative environment making a direct difference in young learners' lives.
