Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position serving schools in Flagstaff, AZ, with a focus on travel assignments. The role involves providing essential speech and language therapy services to students in educational settings, helping them improve communication skills and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. Provide direct speech and language therapy in school settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student performance. Adapt therapy techniques to suit diverse student populations and learning environments. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to education.Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or certification. Experience working in school environments as an SLP. Strong assessment and intervention skills in pediatric speech and language disorders. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Flexibility and willingness to travel to different school locations within the Flagstaff area.
