The ideal candidate will have experience working in a home health setting. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with patient, family and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication skills. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities. Develop and implement personalized therapy plans based on individual needs. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Educate families on strategies to enhance communication skills at home. Stay updated on best practices in speech therapy. Skills Strong understanding of medical terminology related to speech-language pathology. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it pertains to speech and communication. Ability to conduct effective patient assessments using standardized tools.
