Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types Step into a role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will truly make a difference in students' lives. For the 2026-2027 school year, you'll work full time (40 hours per week) in a K-8th grade setting designed specifically to support students with autism spectrum disorders. With a caseload of approximately 50 students, you'll provide both direct and consultative speech-language services as part of a dedicated team focused on creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting screenings, evaluations, and assessments to inform individualized education plans (IEPs) Delivering speech-language therapy to students one-on-one and in small groups, both onsite and via teletherapy as needed Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress and facilitate communication goals Documenting progress, maintaining accurate records, and participating in IEP meetings Staying up-to-date on emerging best practices in autism-focused interventions Qualifications and experience desired: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license for the state or eligibility to obtain Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting, ideally with students on the autism spectrum Comfortable providing services via teletherapy alongside traditional in-person support Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills If you're driven by the opportunity to positively impact students with autism and enthusiastic about making lasting connections with learners, families, and educators, this is your chance to shine.
