Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic and supportive school-based setting, working with students who benefit from your specialized skills and dedication. This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make a tangible impact through direct or teletherapy service delivery. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to create positive communication outcomes for children in a diverse school community.
Key Qualifications and Experiences:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or ability to obtain before the start date) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based practice Familiarity with individual and group therapy, IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Comfort with technology and teletherapy delivery platforms Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in school-aged children Implement evidence-based therapy interventions tailored to each student's IEP goals Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary IEP meetings Engage in parent, teacher, and staff consultations to support student success Adapt services for in-person or virtual delivery as needed Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies to optimize outcomes
