Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of middle and high school students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school community near scenic Mount Lemmon, AZ. This contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year is perfect for professionals who are passionate about fostering communication and language skills in adolescents, while enjoying the flexibility of a 20-hour workweek.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid ASHA certification (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) State licensure (or the ability to obtain one) for speech-language pathology Experience or strong interest in serving students in a school setting, especially with middle and high school populations Strong assessment, therapy planning, and implementation skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify students' needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals Deliver engaging therapy sessions targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
