Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' communication skills as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in school-based pediatric care. This opportunity offers part-time hours, approximately 7-10 hours per week, and the chance to collaborate with a dedicated SLPA in a supportive educational environment near Rillito, AZ. Help children find their voices and reach their full potential while maintaining a flexible work schedule.
Key Qualifications:
Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Prior experience in school-based and pediatric settings Ability to effectively collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Comfortable providing direct and consultative services in diverse school settings
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver assessments, diagnostics, and intervention services for students with a variety of communication challenges Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with school policies Work closely with an SLPA, providing supervision and guidance as needed Communicate progress with teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary team members Maintain accurate documentation and records according to district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans Provide input for program development and best practices within the school community
