Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a lasting difference in the lives of elementary students in a supportive, single-building environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Two full-time contract positions are available for the upcoming academic year, offering the chance to focus on growth and communication skills with an engaging young caseload. This role begins July 28, 2026, and continues through May 20, 2027, providing vital speech-language services for elementary-aged learners. You'll work a consistent 37.5-hour week, empowering students with individualized and group support.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY licensure in Arizona School-based SLP experience preferred; strong new graduates encouraged to apply Passion for collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Confidence working with elementary caseloads and varied communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide targeted and evidence-based speech and language therapy for elementary students with a caseload of 59 Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and actively participate in IEP meetings Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to foster student success Maintain clear and timely documentation of services, progress, and outcomes Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions within one designated building What to
