Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower students to find their voice by making a difference as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school setting. This part-time opportunity (approximately 7-10 hours per week) focuses on providing exceptional speech and language services for pediatric students, while collaborating closely with a dedicated SLPA to ensure each child's progress and success.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings Strong teamwork and communication skills, with an interest in mentoring or collaborating with support staff (SLPA) Passion for helping children achieve their communication goals within an educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose communication disorders in students Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on each student's needs and IEPs Work collaboratively with an SLPA, offering guidance and professional input for optimal service delivery Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings with families and multidisciplinary teams Provide engaging therapy sessions that support a positive learning atmosphere for students Benefits of this
