Grow into leadership while building and expanding a speech program! Full-Time | Scottsdale, AZ | $78k-90k/year Unique opportunity to develop and build a pediatric speech program alongside a clinic owner dedicated to serving children! About the Practice Join a growing neurodiversity-affirming practice in Scottsdale doing meaningful work with kids who learn differently! The practice includes a clinic as well as a therapeutic K-8 academy where movement is part of the curriculum, grades aren't the measure of success, and all progress is celebrated. The Role This position is for the SLP who lights up when working with kids who move through the world in a neurodivergent way. You'll take over a small established caseload of complex and rewarding kids, conduct in-depth assessments, supervise SLPAs, and help shape what the speech program looks like for years to come! Long-term fit matters here. What You'll Do Provide direct individual and small group therapy sessions at least 20 hours per week Conduct thorough initial assessments and develop treatment plans, Alongside the owner, build replicable processes that hold up when things get busy Supervise SLPAs and grow into a mentorship role as the speech team grows Collaborate with teachers to reinforce goals in real time Pivot with flexibility to support the team when coverage is needed Work closely with the practice owner to build a robust speech program Option to start part-time in the summer, build to full-time in fall (at least 30 hours/week) Who's a Good Fit An SLP who is comfortable when cases get complex or behaviors get big (3+ years experience required) Interested in longevity with a company, with a drive to grow the practice and create systems that last Experience in outpatient pediatric setting, not only schools Enjoys working with children of all ages! Genuinely skilled with kids and families, both clinically and interpersonally A leader who is willing to train and mentor SLPs and SLPAs Positive, collaborative, and willing to roll up their sleeves Primary focus areas: literacy, math, writing, social skills and pragmatics, executive functions, apraxia, autism Must have Arizona Speech-Language Pathology license Compensation & Benefits $78-90k/year, commensurate with experience and skill set Sign-on bonus negotiable Performance- or skill-based bonuses open to discussion Employer contribution toward health, vision, and dental 401(k) with 3.5% employer match PTO + sick days; paid holidays PLI and ASHA dues covered CEU budget Mileage reimbursed between locations Laptop and desk provided Flexibility in scheduling Benefits open to negotiation ; benefits will continue to grow as the team grows!
