Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Professional Speech-Language Pathologists are sought for the 2026-2027 school year to provide services in educational settings located in Scottsdale, AZ. This contract role involves working with a diverse student population ranging from Pre-K through 8th grade, with specific opportunities focused on Pre-K only, K-6, and K-8 age groups. The position begins at the start of the academic year and concludes at the end of the school year. Ideal candidates will hold relevant certifications such as the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status, with a strong background in school-based speech-language pathology. Experience managing a caseload of approximately 50 students is required, ensuring effective assessment and therapy tailored to individual student needs.
Key qualifications and experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with appropriate credentials (SLP, SLP - CCC, orSLP - CFY
) Previous school-based SLP experience working with PreK-8 age groups Ability to manage and maintain a caseload of 50 students Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Effective communication and collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Primary responsibilities include administering speech and language evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and maintaining progress notes and reports in compliance with school guidelines and regulations. Collaboration with teachers and staff to support student success and participation in team meetings is also essential.
