Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students—your expertise in speech-language pathology is needed for a rewarding contract role near Valley Farms, AZ! This position calls for a passionate professional ready to support children with diverse speech and language needs in an educational setting. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students presenting with speech and language disorders Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals Provide engaging therapy sessions addressing a variety of communication challenges Track progress and maintain meticulous documentation on all interventions and outcomes Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and support staff in a multidisciplinary team environment Foster meaningful involvement by educating and guiding families throughout the therapeutic process
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly valued Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a team setting Additionally, candidates must have an active license as approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and have completed a Master's or higher in the field.
