Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Yuma, AZ, working onsite within a school setting. This contract role involves supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade, providing essential speech and language therapy services to enhance communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning sessionsQualifications and Experience:
Valid Arizona Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License AZ Educator Certification Clearance with an IVP Fingerprint Card Experience working with PreK-8th grade students preferred Certification in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is a strong asset Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children and educational staffLocation:
