Job Description

Join our travel healthcare team as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a skilled nursing facility in Alameda, CA. You will provide assessment and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and document patient progress according to facility and regulatory standards. This role supports quality care for medically complex and rehabilitation patients while offering an opportunity to work in the San Francisco Bay Area. Minimum Requirements Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. Active California SLP license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience providing SLP services in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred. Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment, including instrumental assessments (e.g., FEES or MBS) preferred.

0800-1630.

Impacting Patient Care You will support improved functional communication and safe swallowing for residents in a skilled nursing setting. Duties include evaluating speech, language, cognition, and swallowing; developing and implementing individualized treatment plans; training staff and family caregivers; and completing timely documentation to support continuity of care and regulatory compliance.
