Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school-based team for the 2026/2027 school year. This role offers the chance to work in a vibrant educational environment located near the stunning Yosemite National Park and several national forests, making it an ideal position for those who appreciate a scenic and inspiring setting. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with communication disorders across multiple caseloads tailored to your preferences. Collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals is essential to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that support student success. The position requires in-person attendance to foster strong connections within the school community. Preferred candidates will be able to commit to a full-time schedule; however, part-time arrangements will also be considered to accommodate different availability. This contract role places a strong emphasis on hands-on interaction and direct service delivery within the school setting.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification and licensure Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings Ability to manage multiple caseloads while maintaining detailed documentation Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to in-person service delivery
