Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working closely with students to support their communication and educational growth. This position is based near Apple Valley, CA, where you'll collaborate with a dedicated educational team, making a tangible difference in students' lives throughout the school year.

Qualifications and Skills:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid SLP license applicable for California Proven experience in pediatric speech therapy settings Background working in schools or similar educational environments Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in children Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Deliver direct therapy sessions to meet students' IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure integrated care and support within the classroom Document assessments, progress, and recommendations in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and advocacy for students' communication needs Maintain consistent communication with parents regarding student progress and recommended strategies Discover the fulfillment of helping students overcome challenges and achieve their communication goals in a supportive school environment.
