Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students for the 2025-2026 school year, located in the scenic area near Arroyo Grande, CA. This contract opportunity offers the chance to help young learners in a supportive, collaborative educational environment, with convenient proximity to the communities of Pismo Beach, Santa Maria, and Edna.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an active California SLP license or California CTC credential Credentials acceptable: CCC-SLP, CFY, or recent graduates eligible for clinical fellowship Experience or demonstrated interest in working within healthcare and/or school settings Background in pediatric speech-language therapy preferred Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy for students in grades K-12, tailoring interventions to individual needs and IEP goals Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders and recommend strategies or supports Document progress and maintain detailed records to comply with all regulatory requirements Serve as a key resource, participating in IEP meetings and providing consultations with staff and families Engage in continuous professional development to remain current on best practices in speech-language pathology Travel as needed between assigned schools within the district
