Company Overview Beyond Speech Therapy (BST) is a dedicated outpatient clinic specializing in comprehensive speech therapy and wellness services for clients of all ages. We are committed to providing current, evidence-based, outcomes-focused assessments and treatment for speech, language, cognitive, swallowing, feeding, and voice disorders. Our goal is to ensure every client receives individualized, high-quality care designed to support meaningful progress and improved quality of life. Beyond Speech Therapy is a full-scope practice serving clients across the lifespan. Each therapist, however, has individual areas of expertise and preferred age groups, allowing us to create a diverse caseload while also aligning therapists with the populations and clinical areas they are most passionate about. While therapists are not required to treat every age group, they have the opportunity to expand their scope of practice based on their interests and professional goals. Our Community Beyond Speech Therapy is an outpatient clinic and private practice located on California's beautiful Central Coast in Atascadero, CA . Atascadero is located in San Luis Obispo County, home to California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) and surrounded by a variety of communities and recreational opportunities. The Central Coast offers easy access to several beautiful coastal communities, including Cayucos, Morro Bay, Cambria, Avila Beach, Pismo Beach, and Grover Beach . We are also conveniently located in the heart of wine country , neighboring the renowned communities of Templeton and Paso Robles . The Central Coast offers an exceptional quality of life, with beautiful scenery, outdoor recreation, wineries, beaches, restaurants, community events, and activities for people of all ages. Position Summary We are seeking a passionate, compassionate, and dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the team at Beyond Speech Therapy. In this role, you will provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to clients with a wide range of communication, cognitive, voice, swallowing, and feeding needs. You will play an important role in helping clients achieve their individualized goals while supporting their overall well-being and quality of life. SLP's beginning their Clinical Fellowship are also encouraged to apply. During the interview process, therapists will have the opportunity to discuss their preferred populations and clinical interests, including pediatric and/or geriatric clients . We strive to build caseloads that align with each therapist's experience, interests, and professional goals whenever possible. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify deficits and areas of need within the full scope of speech-language pathology. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client-specific goals. Provide direct, individualized 1:1 therapy services . Provide education, training, and support to clients, caregivers, and families. Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as needed to promote optimal outcomes. Educate clients and families on strategies and techniques to support communication, feeding, swallowing, and/or cognitive development and carryover at home. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and caregivers to provide comprehensive, coordinated, and patient-centered care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, daily notes, progress reports, and other required documentation within the EMR, in accordance with Beyond Speech Therapy's documentation standards and timelines. Follow established cleaning and disinfecting protocols to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients and staff.
