Speech Therapist (SNF)

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time SAJE Strategic Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dynamic rehabilitation team on a Full-Time basis inside a premier skilled nursing facility in Bakersfield, CA . This position offers an exceptional, competitive pay rate of $78.00 - $80.00 per hour . Key Responsibilities Assessments & Diagnosis :

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in geriatric patients.

Individualized Care :

Develop and implement customized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to meet each resident's specific rehabilitation goals.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration :

Work closely alongside nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and facility leadership to deliver comprehensive care and participate in routine care planning meetings.

Documentation :

Maintain highly accurate, timely clinical documentation regarding resident progress, adjusting care plans as clinically necessary in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.

Advocacy & Education :

Educate and support residents, family members, and facility staff on targeted therapy techniques and ongoing functional care plans.

Compliance & Safety :

Maintain strict adherence to all established safety, infection control, and HIPAA privacy standards.

Required Qualifications Licensure :

Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of California is required.

Clinical Competence :

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred.

Setting Background :

Previous experience working within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting is preferred.

Core Skills :

Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment.

Compensation & Position Details Pay Rate :

$78.00 - $80.00 per hour.
