Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available for the 26/27 school year within a K-12 district located in Benicia, CA. This contract role offers an engaging opportunity to support students across a diverse age range with speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective therapy strategies Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting processes for students Utilize evidence-based practices to support speech and language development within the school settingQualifications and Experience:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required Eligible or certified as a Speech Language Pathologist-Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) accepted Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff Ability to manage caseloads and organize schedules efficientlyLocation:
Benicia, California This role is an excellent fit for an SLP dedicated to making a positive impact in a school community while developing professionally in an educational setting. Competitive hourly rates between $55 and $65 are offered.
