Job Details:
Shift Type = Days Shift Hours = 8:00 AM•6:30 PM Schedule = 4 days per week Assignment Length = 13 Weeks (Start ASAP) On‑Call = Required (1 weekend per month, 7:00 AM•9:00 AM coverage) Setting = Primarily outpatient (pediatric and adult) Float = Acute / inpatient coverage as needed Patient Ratio = Varies by caseload Description of job: SnapCare is seeking a skilled and versatile Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel assignment primarily supporting outpatient services with both pediatric and adult populations. This role requires a clinician comfortable working independently and managing a diverse caseload across age groups. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, including performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) for adult patients. Limited inpatient or acute care coverage may be required as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians seeking a balanced outpatient role with occasional inpatient exposure and a flexible 4‑day workweek.
Qualifications:
Active California SLP license CCC‑SLP certification required Current
BLS / CPR
certification Experience with pediatric and adult outpatient populations Ability to independently perform MBS studies Inpatient or acute care experience preferred Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform speech, language, and swallowing evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) Provide therapy for pediatric and adult patients Document patient progress and outcomes accurately Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Float to inpatient / acute settings as needed Participate in limited weekend call coverage
