Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing speech-language pathology services to middle and high school students, this full-time contract position in Burbank, CA offers a rewarding opportunity in a non-public school setting. You will engage with a diverse caseload, delivering vital support to students with a range of disabilities, helping them improve communication skills essential for academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students. Deliver individualized speech-language therapy during school hours. Provide compensatory speech services after school as required. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations. Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License (CA SLP License) or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) credential. Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Previous experience in pediatric healthcare, school-based settings, or working with children in a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred. Strong understanding of a variety of disabilities and their impact on speech and language development. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Location and Work Details:
Position based in Burbank, California. Full-time, 40 hours per week. Contract runs from ASAP through mid-December 2025. On-site role in a non-public school serving middle and high school students.
